While you're considering the idea of placing local news, etc. on the blog, consider this.
If we do decide to post such things on the blog, should we:
1 Post them on our current (private) office blog for our each of us to use in our own way.
2 Create a new office blog just for these type of postings, and make it public. This would mean it would have a URL that we would put out into the public. We could market and hype the address for the consumer to use.

I think it should be private. Obviously we'd want the consumer to know great things that are happening news-wise... but if some local news things that are happening cause a negative impact on our business, is that something we want the consumer to know?
Great thought. There would be many items that would be good for us to know, but may not be something we want to emphasize out there.
